[ Envy is babysitting Gluttony today, and there are shenanigans going around. Right now, somewhere in the city of Goldenrod, Envy and Gluttony are hiding in dark alleys and watching people pass by.

Just as you happen to be passing by, Gluttony will suddenly be rushing out at you! He's been instructed to not eat anyone, but it's still got to be a pretty terrifying thing to see, having a large man -- is that even a man? Could be a Pokemon, in all honesty... -- charging at you, mouth wide open, drool everywhere, and sporting a rather crazed look that only people who haven't been fed in a while have.

... What do? ]

[OH GOD WHAT THE SHIT IS THAT]

[Isaac's reflexes are still insanely good from years of training, but he would have been faster if he had been training. It's not something he has time to dwell on right now. Isaac's default response is to activate the array on the palm of his left hand and search for a source of water--]

[Oh. Right. Alchemy doesn't work here. Shit.]

[He next goes for a Pokéball, releasing Weavile. The Pokémon takes a stand between Gluttony and Isaac, though the man doesn't seem to have any intention of hiding behind the Pokémon.]

What the hell--? What do you want?

[Envy is having way too much fun with this, and snickers as he looks out of the alley for another poor unsuspecting pedestrian.]

This is a lot more fun than sitting around doing nothing, huh Gluttony?

[He glances over to his current partner in crime, a wide, smirkish grin on his face. It feels good to cause a little chaos every once in a while, especially with other homunculi.]

[And... Upon instinct, China responds with a strong round house kick to the face.]

[ He doesn't hear a word Isaac is saying. Mostly because, once he gets into one of his frenzies, unless one of his siblings is speaking, Gluttony really doesn't care.

As for that Weavile, he... really doesn't care about that either. It doesn't even really register that this thing could potentially kill him.

Though, it isn't Pokemon he's interested in. Envy had said to terrorize humans. So he'll just try his best to run around the Weavile and... head toward Isaac. ]

[ And he's getting food out of this, so. Gluttony is okay with this arrangement. ]

[ The kick sends him reeling backwards. Normally, Gluttony really wouldn't have cared. A kick to the face, his head getting sliced open... none of that had ever stopped him before.

But. This time, he suddenly stops, a few feet away, a bit stunned. ]

... Ow...

[ There's a strange stinging feeling that he can't quite place. All he can really do is stare stupidly ahead of him, and rub the part of his face that had been kicked.

... This is new. ]

[China's surprised upon seeing the familiar face.]

Ah? You?

[ A small headtilt. The pain has made him forget what he was doing initially.

... He's also not too good with remembering names, but the face does look familiar. ]

Gluttony?

What on earth was that for? [He's frowning now and puts his hands on his hips.]

[And here's Envy, coming out of his hiding place.]

You didn't break his nose, did you?

[LUST IS GOING TO KILL HIM IF YOU DID, CHINA. He's wondering about how China and Gluttony have apparently met, but he'll get to that in a minute.]

[He examines Gluttony's face, but is careful not to get too close.]

I don't see any blood.

[Looking at Gluttony now.] You are very lucky that I barely missed your nose, aru. There's a nasty bruise, but that will heal more quickly if you put ice on it and apply gentle pressure to it.

[ He's just going to sit there until Envy tells him otherwise, and glance between the two people.

And not answer China's question, because Gluttony really doesn't know how to. Envy had made it pretty clear that Gluttony's not supposed to talk about the point of this game with anyone.

... So he'll just sit here. And rub his face. And wonder what that weird pain is.

Can he at least get food, though...? Even if this one was a flop. ]

[And look, there's a target walking close to their hiding place now! It's a teenage boy, hands in his pockets and not paying nearly enough attention to his surroundings. But there's two homunculi here to change that.]

[Envy points.] See him?

[ He barely waits for Envy to finish his sentence before darting out at the boy. Considering how the boy isn't paying attention at all, it isn't easy to latch onto him and enclose his mouth over the other's shoulder.

He'd promised Envy that he wouldn't actually eat anyone, but it's hard to remember all those words when there's actual meat between his teeth. Gluttony may not be what he used to be, but he's still got enough force in his jaws to actually crush someone's bones if he tried.

At the last minute, though, he holds back. And just sinks his teeth in a little bit. ... Couldn't he just... eat this one...?

Meanwhile, that boy is shrieking with fright. It's a nice sound, actually. Would go well with dinner... ]

[Of course he can still get food! He didn't try to bite China's head off after getting kicked, and that is good enough for Envy.]

[Envy sighs, frowning a little because this prank didn't go as planned. Maybe he should have thought this through a little more, but he's never been much for thinking ahead when fun is at stake, no matter how much Tulio tries to all but beat it into his head.]

It's fine, Gluttony, I know this guy.

[Glancing back and forth between the two.] And you've met each other before?

Yes, we have, back in January.

So, this is your brother, Envy? [At least, that's what Gluttony told him.] I apologize for injuring him, it's just that he came at me so suddenly and I thought he was a bandit.

[Luke immediately takes a few steps back, not sure if he should call out one of his Pokemon or not.]

[ Nope, sorry. He can't hear anything over the rush of adrenaline right now. Gluttony is rushing full force forward. ]

[Ohh dear, Luke realizes he probably doesn't have enough time to call for any of his Pokemon.]

I'm warning you, stop or else I'll-

[Oh hell with it. He'll run for the nearest thing he can climb up.]

[ He's been instructed to not eat anything, so Luke is safe.

... Mostly.

Gluttony will chase him until he climbs up something anyways. ]

[Nice weather, bit of ice cream, wandering casually around the city...

...and then something just decides to lunge at you for no apparent reason. Nice.

It's fortunate that Rima's reflexes are good enough to avoid being charged into even after this humanization thing. The ice cream on the other hand ends up splattered on the ground.

She sighs in exasperation, looking down at the wasted treat before turning her head towards Gluttony, eyes narrowing slightly]

[ He misses, and manages to lunge forward into a weird roll.

It takes a few minutes to get himself oriented again, and then he's staring blankly at the girl.

... He's not supposed to eat her. He was supposed to terrify her, but she doesn't look very terrified... and he's confused by this.

And then she... thanks him? ]

[Figures. Isaac doesn't give the Weavile a command, but he reacts anyway, lashing out at Gluttony with a Fury Swipes attack. Isaac doesn't call off the Pokemon, but he doesn't move to attack Gluttony either. Isaac has promised not to attack anyone here - not without a decent reason, that is.]

[Not to say that that's necessarily a rare thing - though the natives in Johto do tend to be a touch mindless most of the time they're still people with functioning ranges of emotion and behaviours. But people normally didn't look so SCARED, especially seeing how Johto was normally a very peaceful place.]

[That's part of why Coop loves it so much. And he would have stopped and asked that person what was wrong, but he'd hurried past and Coop was headed somewhere else, so he let it go, albeit with a frown and some reluctance.]


[He hadn't expected much from that brief encounter ... but then he'd spotted another person looking distressed, making her way quickly from the area he's heading towards.]

[And whatever he'd expected after that, he most certainly hadn't expected to find himself jumped at by an impossibly large-mouthed person.]

[His reflexes tell him to shoot, but he doesn't have a gun and he's STILL not entirely used to that, so he goes for a punch that will, honestly, probably, be rendered rather ineffective just from the sheer MASS Gluttony possesses.]</sub>
