[ Envy is babysitting Gluttony today, and there are shenanigans going around. Right now, somewhere in the city of Goldenrod, Envy and Gluttony are hiding in dark alleys and watching people pass by.

Just as you happen to be passing by, Gluttony will suddenly be rushing out at you! He's been instructed to not eat anyone, but it's still got to be a pretty terrifying thing to see, having a large man -- is that even a man? Could be a Pokemon, in all honesty... -- charging at you, mouth wide open, drool everywhere, and sporting a rather crazed look that only people who haven't been fed in a while have.

... What do? ]

[And look, there's a target walking close to their hiding place now! It's a teenage boy, hands in his pockets and not paying nearly enough attention to his surroundings. But there's two homunculi here to change that.]

[Envy points.] See him?

[ He barely waits for Envy to finish his sentence before darting out at the boy. Considering how the boy isn't paying attention at all, it isn't easy to latch onto him and enclose his mouth over the other's shoulder.

He'd promised Envy that he wouldn't actually eat anyone, but it's hard to remember all those words when there's actual meat between his teeth. Gluttony may not be what he used to be, but he's still got enough force in his jaws to actually crush someone's bones if he tried.

At the last minute, though, he holds back. And just sinks his teeth in a little bit. ... Couldn't he just... eat this one...?

Meanwhile, that boy is shrieking with fright. It's a nice sound, actually. Would go well with dinner... ]

[Well, that seems like Envy's cue for his part of the game, as funny as this is to watch.]

[He runs out from the hiding spot in the alley, skidding to a halt a little ways away from where Gluttony looks like he might actually try to eat the guy, and points dramatically.]

Hey, you! Get away from that kid!

[While he's busy having fun with his act, he does notice that the boy's wallet is sticking out of his pocket and would be perfect for stealing if he can get close enough before he runs off. Covering food bribery costs, hell yes.]

[ He removes his mouth from the kid immediately after hearing Envy. But there's a twinge of regret as he glances back down at the kid. He's right there... and he's not even fighting back. ... Would he really have to leave this one alone?

Finally, making a slightly disgruntled sound at having to let his food go, Gluttony shoves the boy in Envy's general direction and dashes back into the shadows of the alleys.

There, he'll just sit and watch Envy deal with their target. And wait for him to come back. ]

[Don't worry, Gluttony, you'll be well-rewarded for your sacrifice of not eating this kid.]

[Envy doesn't give the boy time to recover after Gluttony's released him, grabbing his upper arms and speaking quickly, almost shouting, to keep him confused. He's also doing a very good job of looking concerned.]

Hey, hey, you're not hurt right?

[The boy shakes his head, wide-eyed, and Envy turns him around and half-pushes him down the street. He's also sure to fish that tempting wallet out of the boy's pocket while he's not looking, hiding it in his jacket.] Go on, hurry up and get out of here! Don't worry, I'll handle this.

[The boy doesn't need to be told twice, and he's quick to take off down the street. Envy heads back into the alley where Gluttony's waiting, barely making it there before he's started cackling loudly. He gives Gluttony a pat on the back and opens the wallet to see how much is inside, which is actually a decent amount. Envy is in such a good mood right now.]

That was great, Gluttony. And you know what I'm going to use this for? [He holds up the wallet.]

[ Oh, Envy is happy! This is good. This makes Gluttony happy too. He's grinning and bouncing a little.

No, he doesn't know what you're going to use that for. But, there's really only one thing on his mind anyways. ]

Food~?

Exactly. I'll get you some good food with this much.

[...well, not all of it. More like maybe half. But still. ~Bribery~]

[ He's just going to excitedly look at you. When's the food coming? This is exciting. He loves this game. ]
